Looking for roads…

“"Any destination, however long and complicated, it may be,

actually consists of a single moment: the moment in

which the man knows forever who he is ".

"Curiosity could more than fear, and I did not close my eyes".

 Jorge Luis Borges

My path is the permanent search of my own being, inside and outside the work. I move, I transit, I succeed and I'm wrong ... I learn. I add. I start again, I cross my fears, my own difficulties, I assume them, I grow up. I leave them to one side, waiting, latent to find an answer that fits, at the right time.

The Nucleus is the base, the strength. It communicates, relates, they are encounters and disagreements. There is movement, there are inputs and outputs. The nucleus has a center, it connects the interior, with the exterior. It opens roads, there are infinite possibilities, other dimensions. On the road there is mystery, and the intention to solve it. The more I advance, the more doors open. It is more understood, but new concerns also arise. Everything is pure movement and evolution.

The way I use to express myself is through materiality: the different media and tools that represent one topic or another and their different relationships. I explore materials, their shape and spatiality, through the achromatic and modulated line. The line is the path, and the spaces in white or black, too. Lights are important, especially for the work “Nucleus” raised in 3 dimensions. The spaces of lights and shadows are part of the work. The line is the driving axis of the corpus of my work and it represents the traveled road (the black line) and to transit (the white spaces), the search and the constant movement.

The work "Nucleus" is the one that connects with the whole, because it continues in movement, it participates in the vital transformation of each one. There is a static base and another part that changes, because it adapts to the circumstances, to the space, to the spectator. And here is where the other communicates and interacts with one, a constellation created between the work and the person, where the individual and the group participation, at the same time, remain latent in a connected whole, everything is linked and directly or indirectly impacts on the passing of life and leaves us a wake in our being.
